Where We Dive
Courses are given at Hermance in Lake Geneva on a small beach. The place is conveniently located – about 10 minutes from Geneva. Depending on weather conditions the visibility is quite good and there are some interesting things to see, such as small wrecks, a miniature music band underwater, and of course fish! The practice area has a sandy bottom, sloping very gently.
Finally, it is also possible to take the first part of the OWD (‚Open Water Diver‘) in the Geneva area and finish all the rest in your holiday destination. Just ask for it!

Hermance Plage is a short drive, 10 minutes out of Geneva and easy to reach by public transportation. Yet, Go Dive also offers a pick -up service for CHF 30,- incl. return to Geneve Plage. Other pick up points are possible as well, just ask us!
If it’s your first dive with Go Dive and you don’t have your own equipment and not a super straight-forward clothes size, we strongly recommend to first visit us at the Go Dive Center in France (5-7 minutes drive from Hermance) to select your equipment in the privacy of our house. This can be done just before your dive session or if you prefer, even days before. The Lihsa bus no. 71 direction Thonon is also going from Geneva directly to the bus station “Douvaine Mairie”, from where it’s a 5 minutes’ walk or Stefan can pick you up in a 1 minute drive – and of course commutes from / to Hermance or Geneve Plage to the Dive Center can be arranged as well.
